My name is Dottie Miller, and I am a therapist in San Antonio, Texas. Because I am licensed in Texas, I can practice therapy by video anywhere in the state, not just in my city.

Every person and every problem is different; there is no one-size-fits-all in the therapy that I do. Together, we set out goals of therapy and frequently assess progress. I have training and more than 25 years of experience in the practice of Transactional Analysis, a way of examining and altering the patterns of communication we have with others and within ourselves. 

This modality is easy to learn and apply to relationships so that therapy isn't just an hour in my office once a week but a new, usable way of living the other 167 hours in a week and beyond, long after we have concluded our work together.

My style of therapy is active; I listen attentively, guide your use of new communication skills and insights, and share my thoughts with you. The feedback from my patients has been that the changes made were fast, on target, and enduring.
